Major Announcement: The End

Tavrosmod here…. and i’m sad to say that this is the end of the AU. We’ve had a great run but recently a number of factors have stopped us dead in our tracks. 

First of all is a simple lack of activity. The activity, partially caused by most of the roleplayers being unavailable for a variety of reasons I will not list here since that is the roleplayers own business. Secondly is a lack of plot, simply because while the setting was vibrant for ideas, it was not good for producing storylines with as few people as we have. As such this stalled things further. Finally, as noted, there was a sheer lack of people that sadly just did not work for this AU like it would for others. These factors combined effectively ended the AU as is. Both myself and Oliver decided it was time to move on, so it with a heavy heart I have made this annoucnment. 

As for what will happen to the accounts that still exist, the members have been told that they are more than welcome to continue them, as I will. But the restrictions noted on the main page are hear bye lifted since they simply belong to whoever started them. 

On a final note, I would like to thank the following people: I would like to thank all of the people who have followed this AU, and hope you will follow those who choose to remain with there accounts or on there other accounts if you can find them. I am sorry but at this time I do not know all of them and will be making a post of them As soon as possible. And I would also like to thank all of you who have been a part of this AU and wish every last one of you luck with your future roleplaying endevors. To both groups i’d like to say this: your beautiful people all of you and I hope to cross paths with you again in the future.

Character you want to play: Roxy Lalonde. Favourite Homestuck character: Obviously Hussie. (Tie between Roxy, Dave, Sollux, and Lil Cal. IwishIwerekidding.) Homestuck OTP: Erm. GamKat, DirkRoxy, and DaveRoxy. Roleplay exert:  You open the door to your dorm room and look around. One bed was empty, the other bed already had sheets, pillows and everything else you need to sleep with. It was light blue and reminded you of your favorite cotton candy and your pink decorations will definitely make it look more like cotton candy. You shrug your bag off your shoulder, pulling the flask out of your jacket pocket. You take a small swig and sigh. You wonder where your roommate is at, she’s probably walking around campus, getting a feel for things, which is what you should be doing. You leave your bags on your side of the room and decide that you’ll unpack later. You walk back out of your room and then out of the dorm onto the sunny campus. You see a few cute kids, a few partiers, and some nerds. You decide this’ll be an interesting year. Why do you want to be a part of Collegebent?: Because AU’s are fun and this one seems pretty interesting. How did you find out about us?: crippledlarper.

    Dave looked out across the college campus, bight green filling the lower half of his vision before the bubble popped. He quickly drew the gum back into his mouth before picking up his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder, walking towards what seemed to be his new dorm. He quickly peered into the empty house, trying to pick up any signs of life. When he heard none he walked inside and lifted his shades briefly to get a better view of the darkened house. No one was around, the place was absolutely dead. Not that he was expecting a big welcome, but he wanted more than this hum drum. Where were the hot chicks prancing around in bikinis, his bro definitely said bikinis, among other things. Well he obviously lied, but what’s new in that department of life. He rolled his eyes before looking over the front desk and seeing a note with his name on it.  He picked it up and quickly read their lame excuse for note being there to greet him and grabbed the dorm key that was next to it. “Sheesh…well Strider, you’re definitely not in Texas any more.” He sighed softly before readjusting his bag and heading up the stairs.

  • Dirk paused just inside his new dorm, glancing about for any sign of life. So far, whoever his new roommate was had simultaneously wrecked the hell of out his side of the room and plastered it with old, fading movie posters. All sorts of movies, he noted quietly - good, bad, ironically shitty - this person wasn’t merely a bit eclectic; they were indiscriminate. They weren’t present, though, so, the boy thought, it shouldn’t matter much. Social hour would be later. He sighed and moved to his own side of the room, setting about unpacking his things. This ought to be an interesting few years.
  • Why do you want to be a part of Collegebent?: It seems like a lot of fun, and a lot more lighthearted, in a sense, than another AU that I’m a part of. I love RPing.

Welcome to Green Sun College!

Green sun college was formed by Andrew Hussie on the 20th of march, 1971. In the college there are 3 houses, Prospit, Derse and Skaia. Each house has an Alpha dorm and a Beta dorm, excluding Skaia house.

In the Derse Beta house: Tavros, Nepeta, Aradia and Sollux.

In the Derse Alpha house: Jane, Dirk, Roxy and Jake.

If there is a character you wish to play but isn’t on here, ask us about it, and we’ll see if it makes sense and tell you our verdict.

These are, at the moment, a VERY rough layout for some of the rooms. So far there is only the rooms, but eventually there will be the college and classes as well:

There are a few rules for this AU, which hopefully arn’t asking too much, and will keep everything running smoothly. They are as follows:

  • Please do not bring an already made blog into this, as it can cause a few problems. Make a fresh blog for this AU.
  • Please only reblog things relevant to your character, or even make a side-blog which can be your characters ‘personal’ blog. 
  • Adding to that, please try to refrain reblogging graphic porn gif’s or imagery, and if you do please do it on a personal, just because it can make the Dash pretty awkward.
  • Smut is allowed, but please keep it under read mores. 
  • Please, if you have music on your blog, don’t have it on autoplay.
  • Try to refrain letting people outside the AU cause MASSIVE impact on the AU, Eg, if someone tries to blow up the college or say they do, please politely tell them that that isn’t allowed. 
  • Same as above but if you’re IN the AU and you want to do something massively game changing, Eg blow up the college or assassinate the headmistress (But please don’t do that as thats…kinda dumb), please consult either me or TavMod.
  • people are allowed, if they think someone is being especially disruptive, to call a vote on someone to decide the future of them being in the AU. If there is more votes in their favour, they stay. More votes against, they leave. If someone is voted to stay, 2 weeks have to pass before they can be voted on again unless they do something really bad.
  • last but not least, have fun!

Just fill out this form first, so if we have multiple aplications for the same character we can choose who gets it, and so we know what skill level your working at, and find out more about the person we’ll be Roleplaying with! We will turn very few people away (Unless the character is taken, or one of the mods knows you from being something else and you have a reputation for being a trouble maker (This happened once before and almost destroyed an AU i was in.) ), but bare in mind that if you break one of the rules or do something which we cannot let slide, then you could be asked to leave the group and be removed from the masterlist. (It should also be said that most of these questions don’t effect if you get the place.)
